Wiggle started out as Butler Cycles, a small independent bike shop established in Portsmouth, UK in 1920. In 1999, Butler Cycles went online with the launch of Wiggle.
Chain Reaction started as a small family run business in 1985, we’ve been there for every turn of the pedal, for every cyclist around the world! We started as a small bike shop in Ballynure, Northern Ireland and we went online in 2000 with the launch of chainreactioncycles.com
In 2016, Wiggle and Chain reaction merged and we are now a global leader in the online retail of equipment for cycling, running and swimming, selling to over 70 countries, in 10 languages and 14 currencies.
In December 2021 we joined SSU! SSU is a group of specialist sports webshops powered by our leading sports commerce and technology platform.
The company brings together brands such as Fahrrad.de, Bikester, Probikeshop, Campz, Addnature, Tennis-Point, Outfitter, Stylefile and Wiggle Chain Reaction.
